Volunteer

Do you have a talent or expertise?

Or perhaps you're not up for a long-term commitment. That's fine with us! Your time and energy are precious contributions to the preservation of our community's local history. We have the following volunteer opportunities:

  • Garden guardian - adopt a garden or show up for a workday every now and then
  • Recording secretary - record the minutes of our monthly meetings, March - December
  • Open house host - pick a Sunday afternoon 1-4 p.m. and greet visitors to the George R. Letourneau Home Museum. No knowledge needed! Self guided tours of the grounds are available to visitors.
  • Collections assistant - help with maintaining our museum collections and records.
  • Newsletter editor - do you have print or electronic newsletter experience? Our bi-annual newsletter is in need of an editor.

How can you help?
