French Heritage Corridor 2026 Annual Conference

The French Heritage Corridor (FHC) Annual Conference will return in 2026, and we are pleased to share early notice with our members and partners.

This annual gathering brings together historians, cultural organizations, scholars, and communities dedicated to preserving and promoting French heritage across the Midwest. Attendees can expect presentations, workshops, networking opportunities, and exhibits celebrating the living history of the French Heritage Corridor.

Inaugural Charles Balesi FHC Vision Award

Call For Nominees

The 2026 conference will mark the introduction of the  Charles Balesi FHC Vision Award, honoring individuals whose work exemplifies Charles Balesi’s lifelong dedication to advancing, preserving, and publicizing the French Heritage of North America and in particular his work for the French Heritage Corridor.  Members are invited to start considering potential nominees who show leadership, scholarship, and commitment to the mission of the Corridor.
